Markarth View Manor Update History 2025/8/16-17
Update information is the same for the Bethesda.net version and the Nexus version.
Added Markarth View Manor Annex.

An annex has been added to Markarth View Manor. The entrance is located to the left of the front door, on the mountain path side. The annex features 10 follower beds that are not owned, an inn, a bard's stage, and a meadery. You can also access the beehive garden from the annex.
With the addition of the annex, some of the housemate's schedules have been changed. The pre-bedtime tea time, set for 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM, is now held in the Markarth View Manor annex on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and in the main hall's dining room on Tuesday and Thursday.
If you can't find your housemates in the main hall between 9:00 PM and 10:00 PM, they are likely staying in the Markarth View Manor annex.
I originally created the annex to be a small restaurant and a meadery.
However, I felt that a restaurant alone wasn't enough, so I added a floor with accommodations for followers and a bath. Since inns always have bards, I added one as well. And thinking a bard would have more fun with a stage, I added that to the restaurant.
Introducing the new Bard Stage upgrades!
Phase 1: The Singing Bard and the Crowd

The first phase of the bard stage features a singing bard and a lively crowd that's really enjoying the performance.
Phase 2: The Stage Goes Next Level

I've upgraded the stage with a switch that adds lighting and other effects, which should make the singing bard look even cooler.
About the newly added garden
Since I added a meadery, I also decided to add a garden to collect honey from.
I considered adding the garden to an exterior cell, but to manage in-game performance, I placed it inside a cave instead, since the exterior cell already has a lot of objects.

The garden was small at first, but after wandering around during a test run, I wanted a place to rest, so I added a hut. I placed a table and chairs inside the hut. Then, during another test run, I found myself wanting to stay the night, so I added a bed. If you're going to sleep there, you'll need heat, so I expanded the hut to make room for a heater. (Since the garden is located inside a mountain cave near Markarth View Manor, I've assumed the elevation is high and the temperature drops at night.)
