The Cause Unofficial Updates
According to the information in Unofficial Elder Scrolls Pages, Version 1.6.323.0.8 of Skyrim: Special Edition Patch says "Fixed a problem preventing some doors in Rielle from opening properly." However, Rielle's door did not open in my Version 1.6.353 Skyrim.
It may be a problem only with my Skyrim, but the door that should have been fixed didn't respond.
There may be other players (mainly CS machine players) who are having trouble opening the door, so I decided to release a homemade patch.
Make three changes in the quest "The Cause" added in the Anniversary Edition.
- Remove the gate that closes Rielle's passage.
- The door to Rielle Crypt doesn't work, so add another door.
- Add enemies to the floors of Rielle and Deadlands.
Rielle and Deadlands have significantly more enemies than their initial placement, so challenge Rielle and Deadlands with your dependable companions.
If you can't win, one way is to reduce the difficulty to "Very easy".
Thank you for using this mod.
I'll go straight, but I think I'll use a roundabout route when I think about recovering the Elemental Shard.
This is the first door I added.
At first, I installed a door with the same shape as the door that does not open, but since "Open" is not displayed no matter how much I move the cursor, I chose the same blue door, although the design is different.
Rielle Crypt also has a fence that opens with a switch on the floor, but this is also removed.
If you are trapped in the Great Welkynd Stone Square in the battle with Norion the Undying, you can escape the floor from this emergency exit.
The player may be trapped in the passageway leading to the Great Welkynd Stone plaza if the squire exits the Great Welkynd Stone plaza before the player. If the closed door in front of the player is re-opened by a switch on the floor and the player proceeds, the way back will remain closed. This emergency exit replaces the closed door and allows the players to escape.
The door on the way back from the Great Welkynd Stone will not open, so use this door on the left.
The lattice wall of the passage on the way back is not opened by the switch, so it is blocked by another wall. Release the wall of the passage with a switch.
If this wall is deleted from the beginning, it will run backwards in the route required for the quest, and it will be a route to proceed without getting the quest item, so I have not deleted it.
