Markarth View Manor

I've constructed a residence overlooking the city of Markarth. The property is equipped with a bathroom and a toilet and is intended to house my family and 22 housemates.

Conflicting MOD
A MOD that modifies the same location (mainly modifies coordinates -39, -1, and also modifies -39, -2 and -40, -1). Modifications will be made from the mountainside at coordinates -39, -1 to the mountaintop. There is a possibility that this MOD will conflict with a MOD that modifies the same location.
Conflicts with Silverstead. For the PC version, there is a link to the patch on the Markarth View Manor page on Nexus. The patch for the Xone version has not been confirmed to work, but can be found on Bethesda.net.

Notes for Xbox One version
- I don't have an Xbox One, so I can't check the operation. note that.
- Of the added NPCs, only those with followers-enabled voices can be hired by Amazing Follower Tweaks.
- Supports "Hearthfire multiple adoptions". Since this operation check only confirmed "operation on the PC version", we have not been able to completely confirm the operation on Xbox One.
There are two versions of the PC version.
The one with the notation of SE consists only of the material of Version 1.5.97 environment. The one with AE notation uses the material ("Fishing" resource (ccBGSSSE001-Fish.esm)) that became available after Version 1.6.
Installation
As with all moddings, in order to deal with unexpected problems, please back up the save data before installing this mod so that you can always restore it before installing the mod.
There is no specified installation timing. There is no special load order either. I think it would be easier to manage if you put it in the same row as other houses.
Uninstallation
When uninstalling this mod, please cancel all the residents' residence settings first, send it to the original location, and then uninstall it.
When uninstalling, please uninstall with save data in a state where "the status increase effects added by this mod have expired" and "you do not possess the items added by this mod."
There are mainly three types of conditions for the status increase effect that occurs with this MOD.
- Washing your hands, brushing your teeth, using the toilet, washing your body, and using the bath will temporarily increase your status.
- If you are equipped with an item (weapon or armor) added by this MOD that has a status increase effect.
- If you use items (food or potions) added with this MOD that have a status-increasing effect.
If you uninstall this MOD with save data in which the status increase effect generated by this MOD is enabled, the status increase effect may remain. Please remove additional items from your equipment and save in a state where you do not own any additional items before uninstalling this MOD. If the additional item has a magic effect, only the magic effect may remain after uninstalling this MOD, and the magic effect may not be removed.
How to use
The following information is shared between the PC and Xbox One versions.
After installing this mod and saving and loading, you can have up to 22 followers live in your residential area. This habitation feature only works on humanoid followers. The residence function does not work for animals such as Meeko or stray dogs. There are no plans to support the relocation function for animals in the future. Please use "My Home is Your Home" for relocation including Meeko. Please use "Hearthfire Multiple Adoption" to relocate your family.
If you are not moving your spouse, adopted children, or other family members, there is no problem even without "Hearthfire Multiple Adoption."

About the automatic undressing function of NPCs
Washing your hands, brushing, washing your body, and using the bath will temporarily increase your status.
The bath and toilet have an NPC automatic undressing function. After a certain period of time, the undressing state of the NPC will be released.
If the NPC is still undressed, remove the Bath Cloth and Restroom Cloth from the NPC's equipment.
In addition, it seems that some NPCs have the automatic undressing function disabled.
NPCs with the ability to "neutralize magic" have no effect and remain dressed.
Also, the undressing NPC's torso may not be visible, but it can be restored by removing the Bath Cloth and Restroom Cloth.
The player does not automatically undress, so when taking a bath, the player should gracefully undress or equip a Bath Cloth.
The Bath Cloth and Restroom Cloth are set to a high defense value to protect you from enemies while you are bathing in the open-air bath.
However, this does not mean that we recommend playing in loincloths. Please wear clothes after taking a bath as the water will get cold.
If you don't want NPCs to undress automatically
There is an "NPCs will not undress" button that will stop NPCs from undressing in the bath or toilet.
The "Undressing Control Button" located immediately to the left as you enter through the front entrance allows you to switch on and off NPCs undressing inside the building and in the garden.
By turning the switch on, you will see NPCs using the toilet or bath with their clothes on, but please assume that they are actually undressing.
Known bugs/issues
Known issue 1
You can switch between water and steam in the bath or sauna with a switch. The game may crash if you leave it displayed in large numbers and go outdoors. Please turn off the switch when moving. Saving water is important. If the switches are switched continuously, the game may crash due to the load on the game.
Known Issue 2
This house has a house Owner set to "Player". There is also a "Public Area" setting.
This is because if the house does not have a "Public Area" setting, the residents will warn the player "I want you to leave the house" when the player returns home.
Due to the effect of this "Public Area" setting, guests such as guards may come to visit this house. After a while, the guests will return to their original location, so please leave them alone.
Known issue 3
When you look at this house from afar, parts of the hallway may be missing, and parts of the distant view of Markarth from the terrace or observation deck may be missing. This is due to the game settings where objects are not displayed unless you get close to a certain distance. The rendering settings for distant views may be changed by some players using MODs, so it is not possible to provide complete support.
Question and Answer (Possible question)
Question 1: I want to relocate my family, but this house doesn't appear as an option for where to move.
PC and Xone's answer 1: You need "Hearthfire Multiple Adoption" to move family members such as spouses and adopted children into the house. After installing "Hearthfire Multiple Adoption", visit this house and cast the spell "Bless Home" inside the house to move your spouse or adopted children into the house.
Please use "My Home is Your Home" to house animals such as Meeko or stray dogs.
PS4 Answer 1: "[PS4] Relocate NPC - Your new home" is required to move family members such as a spouse or adopted child, or animals such as pets.
Question 2: The merchant (Ma'taba) is cooking indoors at Markarth View Manor in the evening.
Answer 2: Ma'taba, the merchant of Markarth View Manor, has come to serve food for a social gathering. Please be on good terms with him.
Question 3: I can't jump from the rooftop garden observation deck.
Answer 3: The observation deck is covered with invisible walls to prevent danger if you fall. Please do not jump as there are some areas without transparent walls.
Question 4: Where is the secret treasure vault?
Hint: "Player's bedroom." Check out the obviously suspicious buttons and walls.
Question 5: I climbed a ladder in one place and came out into a gap in the cliff. Can I just jump down?
Answer 5: Please go down the cliff on foot. Do not jump off the cliff. Basically, it is not expected that you will return to the top of the cliff from where you landed. Therefore, we do not plan to add footholds to the cliff.
Explanation of the Housemate function.
A description of the function that allows Followers to live in this house (Housemate function).
I used Mr. UniSL's "Dweller Slot" for Follower's migration function system. Thanks to Mr. UniSL.
Description of Follower's long-term stay feature
- After installing this mod, if you save and load it and bring the follower to this house (inside the house), you will be presented with the option "[Home] Would you live in this house?".
- Select the dweller slot from [1] to [22] from "This's your dweller slot." After allocating a dweller slot and then parting from the follower, the follower will start living in this house.
- When you talk to the NPC who has become a resident, the option "[Home] I want to manage dwellers." Will be displayed, and you can unlock the dweller slot.
If you want to change the resident, bring the follower you want to change to this house and select the dweller slot you want to change from the conversation "[Home] Would you live in this house?" And change it.
Attention and request: The Essential attribute is given during the stay, but it will return to the default setting after releasing the dweller slot, so if you bring a Follower without the Essential attribute, hire it as a Follower after releasing the dweller slot. Then, please deliver it to a safe place.
When uninstalling this mod, please cancel all the residents' residence settings first, send it to the original location, and then uninstall it.
By using other mods together, it is possible to migrate "NPCs that cannot be made friends normally", but it is recommended to migrate NPCs related to the progress of the quest after the quest is completed. . If you migrate NPCs related to quest progress in the middle of the quest, the quest may not be able to progress.
Also, if you "temporarily make a 'sedated hostile NPC' a friend" and immigrate as a housemate, be careful as it may attack merchants and players after the sedation is lifted.
Serana's associated quest (Dawnguard) has higher priority than the Dweller Slot system, so Serana cannot be set as a housemate until Dawnguard is completed. Please finish all of Serana's related Dawnguard quests before making Serana your housemate.
Explanation of the housemate's residential area
Housemate beds (1) to (6) are in a 6-person room at the back of the dining room.
Housemate beds (7) to (8) are in an 8-person room at the back of the reception room to the left of the entrance.
Housemate beds (15) to (18) are in the room further back from the 8-person room at the back of the reception room to the left of the entrance.
Housemate beds (19) to (22) are in the room further back from the 8-person room at the back of the reception room to the left of the entrance.
Housemates are set to sleep in their rooms for 8 hours from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, but if the housemate's default sleep start time is before 10:00 PM, the housemate's sleeping time in the room is set to be the closest to the housemate's current location. Move to a sleeping place and start sleeping.
Even if your housemates are sleeping in a bed other than your own, they will wake up once at 10pm and head to their assigned beds.
Housemates' main areas of patrol: Indoors, outdoor terrace, rooftop garden.
Housemate Schedule
- Breakfast: 6:00AM to 7:00AM in the dining hall (Dweller slots:1 to 14)
- Breakfast: 7:00AM to 8:00AM in the dining hall (Dweller slots:15 to 22)
- Lunch: 12PM to 1:00PM in the dining hall (Dweller slots:1 to 14)
- Lunch: 1:00PM to 2:00PM in the dining hall (Dweller slots:15 to 22)
- Tea time: 3:00PM to 4:00PM outside on the terrace in front of the entrance.
- Dinner: 6:00PM to 7:00PM in the dining hall (Dweller slots:15 to 22)
- Dinner: 7:00PM to 8:00PM in the dining hall (Dweller slots:1 to 14)
- Tea time before bed: 9:00PM to 10:00PM in the dining room.
- Bedtime: Sleep from 10:00PM to 6:00AM.
- Housemates are free to move around freely both indoors and outdoors except for meal and sleeping times.
Housemates' meal schedules may deviate from their start times or cancel their meal schedules.
No ownership is set for beds in housemates' living quarters.
Beds in housemates' living areas are single beds, so if the player's accompanying Follower goes to sleep first, the housemate will have no place to sleep and will not be able to sleep.
